BUILDING
on their award-winning success in Carlisle, Indigo Indian
restaurant and take-away has opened a new business in Cockermouth.
Kaddus Miah (pictured left) , is the manager at the helm of
Cockermouth’s newest restaurant on the balconied first
floor in Old Kings Arms Lane just off the Main Street and
near the famous statue of Mayo.
The fully licensed restaurant, in the former premises of Clooney’s
Bar and Grill.
The partners' Carlisle restaurant, also called Indigo, has
won a number of honours over the past six years including
a customer excellence award, the AAA guide award for excellence,
the British Bangladeshi Business Link best 50 restaurants
in the UK award and a health and hygiene prize.
